Installation Information
Grip Glue and Safety Wire Recommended
Remove all old grip material and adhesive before installation. Clean the handlebar and throttle tube thoroughly, then install the grips using quality motorcycle grip glue. Safety wire is recommended for additional security. Allow the adhesive to cure completely before riding.
Check Throttle Operation
After installation, verify that the throttle rotates smoothly and returns fully without sticking. Confirm adequate clearance between the grip, throttle housing, handlebar end, and handguards.
Traditional Slip-On Design
These grips do not include a throttle tube or ODI Lock-On throttle cam. Confirm that traditional slip-on grips are appropriate for your motorcycle before ordering.
